mini update

Lots to report on.

First, obviously the Argos lost a couple of weeks ago thus making the Grey Cup game between the Roughriders and the Blue Bombers. The Roughriders won.

Congrats to them and to the fans from Saskatchewan that made their way to Toronto to support them.

Next, what is really going on with the Knicks? Isiah fired? Marbury disgruntled? They need to get it together and stop being the soap opera of the NBA.

Finally, the Raptors lead man, Chris Bosh, was at a BMO signing today. Himself, Anthony Parker and GM, Brian Colangelo (in photo) were there talking about the currently season and what they hope for. It was interesting. They basically wanted to get off to a better start and want to have more dedicated players like CB4.

One step closer

Argos now know who stands between them going to the big game at the Rogers Centre. Now all they have to do is beat them. Next Sunday is the showdown between Toronto and Winnipeg who just beat Montreal this past weekend.

Wouldn't it be just swell if the Argos made it the Grey Cup game? I guess time will tell.

P.S. Did anyone watching the World Series? I know I missed...congrats Boston! It's late, I know.

Arrrrrrrrrgos

The last time I went to an Argos game in 2004 my baby cousin was two and she loved saying Arrrrrrgos. She better get her voice warmed up because she may be able to cheer on our team in the Grey Cup match on November 25th.

Am I being too presumptuous? I hope not. Our season was 11-7 and all we have to do is beat either Winnipeg or Montreal on Nov 18 we're in! We have a couple of weeks to practice until then so I'm hoping we'll bring our A game. Look how we crushed Saskatchewan. We're thirsty for that cup. We had a couple of rough seasons since our win in 2004 but we're coming back!

Go Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgos!
